(Before 1980) This hybrid may be the largest rhodo in the Gardens. It is likely more than thirty-five years old and continues to be vigorous. Some of the tall growth has been cut back over the years, so that there is a substantial amount of lateral growth, with the plant filling a large space between the Long Branch and the trail with layers of growth.
