Rhododendron ‘Herbie’ #1

(2012) A peachy, yellowish flowered hybrid named for Dr. Herbert Hechenbleikner, the founder of the UNCC gardens. It is located on the trail, just north of ‘Tom Everett’, near the intersection with the Kellam Connecting Trail.
