Rhododendron ‘Herbie’ #2

(2000) This hybrid was named for the garden’s founder, Dr. Herbert Hechenbleikner. It is located on the trail, in a large clump of Goldenseal, in the area just north of the Hickory Gap. It is near a hemlock tree, just north of three R. minus plants.
