(2000) This hybrid is an award winning plant for the Southeast. It is an outstanding rhodo with the species fortunei and yakushimanum as parents. It has white flowers in early spring and a compact habit, with glossy dark green leaves. It is located on the trail, in the area just north of Hickory Gap, on the south side of R. ‘Peppermint x hyperythrum’.
