Overview

Welcome to the STEM for the People website where we present brief summaries of current science, technology, engineering, and mathematics research findings tailored to different audiences. We have been gathering research findings about STEM for several years and summarizing each study’s key findings. Our goal in creating the STEM for the People website is to widely share the information we’ve gathered about the factors that foster greater STEM success among all students.

The findings we emphasize focus on what leads to students’ success in STEM, not failures. Because the universe of available quality research is so wide, we target information we believe will be useful and interesting to K-12 students and their families, educators, educational policy makers, and the general public.
